This is our deadman curve blank. Note the lead in and lead off pieces of track section at either end. We reused these pieces on all sections so as to reduce the amount of waste.

This is our finished routered deadman curve. You can notice how the elliptical routering widens the gutter going into a turn.

Jean-Marc and Joe hard at work routering the deadman curve. You will definitely need a shopvac, because the lane is filled with MDF after routering.

Another view of the finished curve. We have not cutout the radius for the inside of the track yet, we did this later by hand using a jigsaw.
