Here's how the finished tongue and groove looked before assembly to the end of each section of track. We pre-drilled the holes at this stage so everything would line-up. Each section was numbered so when assembled they would match perfectly.

Here I am cutting the leg braces from the waste section of each straight away. This is the only task that they trusted me with, except getting the refreshments.

This shows one end of the tongue and groove section. I had to notch out the section where the braid would go down through the track. This might me easier to do "before" assembly

This is side two of the tongue and groove section. I had to notch this section later as well. The sections fit very tight, with the braid installed, it would not let the section join properly.

Finally got the track home after a couple of weekends of work. I test fitted each section to make sure everything was going to work. This is prior to making the bank end of the track.
